Montana Wild Wings brought another owl and a Ferruginous Hawk to the Bird Day event held at the Salish and Kootenai College in Pablo on May 5. The event was held to celebrate the return of migratory birds to the area and bring awareness to many types of birds that live in the Mission Valley ecosystem.
 Kari Eneas releases a rehabilitated eagle on the evening of May 9 during the 2016 River Honoring ceremony along the Flathead River. The bird came into the custody of Montana Wild Wings after a woman near Kerr Dam outside of Polson, Montana called the Tribes about an inured eagle hopping around her yard. After being brought into the Wild Wings rehab center, blood work was done to check lead levels. The blood work came back with high levels of lead. It came into custody on March 1 and was released May 9.
